This is Rico, he's a Prehensile-tailed Porcupine. Known for their large and extremely boop-able nose, their long tail that is used as an extra hand, and their head to toe quills, this porcupine can be found foraging for leaves and bark.

Like most rodents, their teeth will continue to grow over their lifetime and so need to be constantly gnawing on roots and branches to keep them short. They spend most of their 12-17 years sleeping and climbing trees but unlike monkeys they cannot jump!

This mug is perfect for those in your life who have a little bit of an edge but you love them anyway. Most of the time you just need to feed them and tell them they’re pretty.

Darcy and Luna are just two guinea pigs, squeaking at their hooman, telling them they’re hungry...

Darcy and Luna Designs was born after our founder and artist, Milly, lost her two beloved guinea pigs. They were her friends when she was lonely, her entertainment when she was sad, her reason to get up when she just wanted to stay in bed. If this wasn’t reason enough, then the fact that guinea pigs are the most underrated pet is!

This made her think - what other underrated animals are out there? Darcy and Luna Designs is all about paying homage to those animals that are just as adorable as dogs, elephants, hedgehogs and donkeys, just a little more… alternative!
